I finally did it! I removed Norton and get this..I removed it all from the control panel! I got their latest removal tool, but when I ran it, a edit box popped up wanting the version number so I put it in their and it kept saying no match.. So just went to the control panel and removed it from there and Norton is all gone from my computer. I installed the "free" version of 7.50 of AVg and that was interesting.. But the scan said no threats or stuff was affected on my computer lol. I am having a problem though registering the product on the web page of AVG. It says it's already in their dat files which I guess it is referring to Allen's computer, but I need it to be the same on mine and I can't figure out how to get it to accept it. BTW, the toll free number I gave y'all the other day for AVG, 866-833-5727 apparently is only affective certain hours not 24/7 like they claim on thier web site,lol. But I'm up to date according to what I did after checking for updates and since this is not suppose to end till later guess I'm ok, but sure do want the professional version verses this freeby..
