Subject: [Blind-Computing] Can't disable Spybot Resident

Hi. I'm using Spybot Search& Destroy 1.4. How can I permanently disable
the Spybot Resident? All I want is to have Spybot available when I choose
to load it so I can run a scan for spyware from time to time. However, with
this Resident feature enabled, it's continually running and keeps popping
up with annoying messages, and I have other programs that are already doing
what this Resident does. I can exit the Resident each time I log on, but
I'd rather not have to keep manually doing this every time. I looked all
over within the program, and I can't find a way to keep resident from
starting up and running. Thanks for any help.
