Hi, Have you tried going into IE and going into the View menu and going under Toolbars, and unchecking the Google Tool Bar from the mnu? Also have you tried going into Add/Remove Programs and and unstilling the Google Toolbar if it is in the list? Sorry if this is being repeated. HTH, Jeffrey

That is good advice but I learned that lesson long ago the hard way. I checked the Add On section of Internet Explorer but I don't see anything that resembles this particular nuisance. Am I missing something? Obviously yes. I don't have much in the way of add ons anyway. There is one on the list which has a long series of numbers and letters. It looks like one of those obscure web addresses where you download a program. Other than that, there are entries which refer to Adobe and Real Player, my media player choice. I went through the Control panel and searched for items which were marked Google. I used standard procedures for removing those programs I found but the tool bar is still there. Can anyone come up with other suggestions? This thing is driving me up a wall. What's more, I don't know where it came from. John Justice My job feeds my family, music feeds my soul.
