On the Blind-Computing programs page, there is a tool which prunes the registry. I have questions about it before I use the tool.
When I ran the program it found about 200 registry items which seem to have no real purpose. The tool requires that you check each item to confirm it can be removed. But at the top of the page, is a warning statement indicating that the registry should be backed up before the tool is used. That makes sense. But how is that done? Secondly, if you use the tool and it does remove something vital, how can you get your system back up and running? How reliable is the tool? If someone were to simply check the All option, how much risk is there that the computer would be disabled? Rick, I found this on your page. It looks like an effective tool but I am a bit concerned. Can you give me any input on this? John Justice My job feeds my family, music feeds my soul.
