Yup.  To be honest, I think I only use only the delete key around 2 times 
per year, and that's normally if I want to specifically 'delete' something, 
but just keep it in backup in case, or, funny enough, I suppose you could 
'delete' something while someone else is there, and then go fetch it again 
later - LOL!

Anyway, I basically always use shift + delete, and, the weird thing is how 
many 'normal' people sort of ask me 'what I'm doing?' since they don't seem 
to know that's a pre-defined keystroke combination.

The other one no-one seems to realise is there is just the backspace key to 
move up one level when browsing in windows explorer, and, yes, fair enough 
it's a text erasing keystroke, and I don't know when I learnt about it, but 
have been using it for as long as I remember as well.
