Hi all, first of all I'd like to thank you so much for all the help and support throughout my assignment so far. It has been greatly appreciated. Second, I at last found a way for the go to dialogue to display the references I need for the count function! Here's how to do it: 1. Select a range of cells. 2. Press control g to open the go to dialogue box. 3. Tab to the go to list box, and press end to highlight the excel_builtin_print_area. I assume this is a macro, but anyhow, press enter to go to that reference. 3. Go back up to the range of cells you've selected, and press control g. Now watch, as the reference(s) are filled in for you! What I did then was to copy what was in that edit field, go to the monthly_model worksheet, and in the cell I want I type the following into my formula: =count(share_prices!references), where references is the actual cell references, separated by commas. To make things easier, I pasted the references so that I didn't have to type it all, obviously. Then I ended the formula with a closing bracket ()), and I got the results I hope were right! Just thought I'd let you all know, as I know you've all been struggling to help me with this task, but eventually I got there. Thanks again for all the help and support, and please, keep them coming.
