A CDA file is not an audio file. It is simply a placemarker on the CD.
You will have to convert the CD to *something* to save it on your hard
drive. The best way is probably to make an image of the CD. There's a
little utility that will do it, I don't know where you'd find it on the
Web as someone just e-mailed it to me. Easy CD-DA Extractor, latest
version, from www.poikosoft.com, will aos create disk images, I suspect
NEro will do so as well. The downside of a disk image is that you can't
play that file on your computer. If you want to copy tracks losslessly
to your machine, wave files, FLAC files, or Windows Media lossless files
are the way to go, and these files you can play on your PC. I hope this
