Hi all, we've just set up our network so we're ready for broadband this coming
Thursday. However, I have a question. In the package were 3 microfilters, which
are all set up. However, when I saw one of the filters, it had both a phone
cable slot and a modem cable slot. We fitted the phone cables into the
appropriate slot on both the filters and the phone lines. However, what is the
modem cable slot for? For now we're not using it, however is this required for
a successful broadband experience? I was at least able to see my wireless
connection, and has connected to the network successfully, so the network
itself is working properly, but we're not sure about this extra slot on our
microfilters. Thanks in advance for answering my question, and I look forward
to hearing from you.
