Hi Rosemarie, I'm sorry but I don't have any help for you. I am having the same trouble. It doesn't matter if I use MS Word to scan, or Text Cloner Pro from www.readingmade easy.com, I just get a bunch of garbage read to me. I had a sighted friend look at the scanned page, and she said it looked fine, but JAWS just reads a bunch of junk.
It has to be some setting that's making JAWS conflict with Windows. I never had this trouble until I got my new computer about a year ago. I'm using XP Pro. If I hear anything, I'll let you know. And if you get it figured out, please give me a yell.
