Hi there Patricia.
I remember that situation. Explorer wants you to choose a default search
program and from that time on, there will be a bar at the top of your
screen which contains several useful options. You can jump directly from
whatever URL you are in to Google for example and then you can return to
the original web page with just a couple of clicks. Once you understand
what it is, it's pretty neat. But you need to choose a particular search
engine that is your favorite. There are a lot of them. In a recent survey,
Google beat out Yahoo by about 21% as far as choice of search tool goes.
Anyway, you have to follow the steps and write in the Google web site.
Watch this one Patricia. There are 2 Google types of display, one of which
is blind friendly and the other is not. But if you have ever used Google
before, the system will probably make that one of your choices.
