There can also be a possibility that your emails are being received in text format, for which you should go to the tools menu, options, the read tab, and "read all messages in plain text". If that is checked, uncheck it. If none of this works, try refreshing Jaws' virtual buffer with ctrl+escape. Sometimes jaws messes up the links.
