Hi Patricia, Thank you for the kind words. In an interesting way, sometimes helping others, is a way of helping yourself. While many of the programs that David and I take a look at, may seem more beneficial to the advanced user, the majority are useable by users of varied skill levels. NLite, and Image for Windows, are 2 programs that can be of great help to the blind computer user. and they are of particular interest to David and I. The websites and mailing lists that David and I maintain, are for our benefit as well. We don't have all of the answers, and certainly have questions of our own, and that creates the need for us to do what we do. As moderators, we have to look at every message, even if the subject has no immediate interest to us, and that in itself is yet another opportunity to learn something new. As I have said before, you never know where the next good tip will come from. And, yes, John and I are identical twins, but we weren't born in the same place at the same time, or region for that matter. Just kidding! lol No, ma'am, we are not related Take care, Richard Q. When you or David are constantly doing something to better help all of us, I feel like one of those characters in that story of, the little red hen who kept asking for help and never got any, but as soon as all the work was done...they all came running for the bread. Well I can't help you in this project except to say a big thank you and to spread the word around if you like online to other people/groups of this and David's site. BTW, are you and John related? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick Justice" < [EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "blind-computing" < [email protected]> Sent: Thursday, July 24, 2008 8:11 PM Subject: [Blind-Computing] Windows Automated Installations > Well, I finally got thru the program, > after locating the proper drivers for my sound chip. > I did burn a bootable disk, but am waiting for a good pair of eyes > to watch the display as the machine boots. > Once I have a successful install, and a working mike, > I will run down the procedure, and post everything to the website. > This program has potential, let's just hope it works for us. > Richard Q.
