Hi Folks,

I have a real hum doozy of a problem here, and I will give the bulk of my
estate, which pretty much amounts to zilch, smile, to whomever can help me with
this problem.

I once started a diary back when I was 21, and it wasn't much, but it was
important to me at the time. Well, back then, I still had sight, and was using
Word Perfect 6.0 as my word processing software, as most of us did back then.

Well, I also password protected that document, and have not touched or modified
it since.

I now need to read it, if only to get accurate information for a book I'm
writing, and need to open it.

I no longer use Word Perfect, and so can't open it up in the traditional way.

I now use Microsoft Office, 2003, which includes Word, but when I go to open
the file, Word reports that it can't convert password protected files.

I don't have access to a computer running Word Perfect, so I'm at a loss as to
how I can open this file to convert it to Word, which I'm now using.

If it helps, I'm using Jaws 9, latest build, Office 2003, Windows XP Home, and
that's about it.

A medal of honour to anyone who can help me with this.

I actually can't remember if I've asked this question before, but if I have, I
apologize, but as new members join, my hope is that someone may know how to get
past this problem.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
