What you can do is to highlight an mp3 file.  
Do an alt enter.
Shift tab one time to, change, and pressyour spacebar.
Arrow down to Winamp and then tab to OK.

11.  I went to preferences in Winamp, file types, and then clicked on all
file types, so I don't know why Winamp didn't become my default player.  Any
