Ok. Might not be relevant if it's a software problem, but one of the first
things I do with a flash drive that doesn't want to be seen, is to take it
out again, and tap it on the desk (lightly) in case there's some dust in
there, and you can also use (gently) something like a piece of tissue paper
to make sure the slot is clean, but be very careful and make sure no part of
it gets stuck or left behind there.

In terms of SDRam cards, I'be got one mobile phone where it also needs to be
cleaned occasionally, but there I normally just rub the contact points of
the card very gently with something like tissue paper after putting a tiny
bit of moisture on it.

These aren't the safest/best suggestions, and they might be 100% irrelevant
if it's actually a software issue (try them in another machine), but the
fact is that sometimes electronic contact points get slightly oxidised etc.

Stay well

Hi MArks, thanks, I have tried 3 different devices and 4 different sd cards,
but it does not even make the found new hardware sound.

Hi
I had a small drive like a flash drive that did that to me and it was
actually the drive itself. Are you able to access other USB devices like a
printer? If so then the USB is probably alright.
     Just my experience.

God bless,
Mark
