How to cancel a follow? You can Unfollow on the web by navigating to that user's profile page ( http://twitter.com/username ) then clicking the "Following" box below their name. After you've clicked "Following," you'll see a [Remove] button, which you can click to stop following someone. You can also do this from your Following page . I haven't found a way to stop following someone via sms or im yet. The commands "leave" and "off" only turn device notifications off, but don't actually stop following someone.
