Yes Patricia, you can.  Here's how.

1.  While on a message list, press Shift Tab which should move the focus to 
the list of folders. Make sure that your cursor is lined up on the folder 
you want to correct.
2.  Press your Applications key which opens up a series of functions for 
working with the folders.
3.  Either arrow down to Rename or press M as a hot key which brings you to 
that function.
4.  Press Enter and the folder name will be displayed.  You can delete it 
completely or just make whatever changes you have in mind.

CAUTION:
If you have created any message rules with that folder as the intended 
target for moving messages, the rule will no longer function until you have 
modified it to show the new folder name.
