Hi Shannon,

You might need to check and make sure the setting that puts the My Documents
icon on the desktop, hasn't been unchecked for some reason.

1. Go to the control panel.
(start menu - settings - control panel)
2. Arrow down to Display and hit enter.
3. Press control plus tab to get to the desktop page.
4. Tab over until you hear "Customize desktop" button. Press your space bar.
5. On the "general" tab, tab once. You will hear a list of the icons that
should be on your desktop. I believe the first one is the "My Documents"
check box. Make sure that is checked.
6. Tab to OK and hit enter. Then in the next screen, tab over and hit enter
again.

That should put the My Documents icon back on your desktop.

I hope that's what it is and this helps.

Ken
