Hi all. Now here's an interesting development. On my XP desktop I use Outlook 2003. On my new Vista lap top I'm using Windows Mail.
For when I travel, I have Windows Mail on my lap top configured to leave all messages on the server unless I choose to delete the messages permanently. However, email in my in box is not remaining on the server in spite of this setting. But get this. Even more baffling is that all the email I have directed to sub-folders via message rules, are remaining on the server as they are supposed to. In other words, the setting to keep messages on the server unless I delete them works properly for all the sub-folders but not the main in box. All messages I download to my in box automatically disappear from the server regardless. Very odd. I double-checked, and these messages which I never deleted are no where to be found on the AT&T Yahoo server. Any thoughts? Thanks. Chris Feist - The one and only!
