What type of CD/DVD does it have? Both my laptops have DVD writers in, and it's a good thing.
Also, one of them has an included card reader socket which allows me to read/update MMC/SDRam cards which is also a good thing. FWIW, the one is a Dell, and the other is an LG, but they're both over 1 and a half years old as well.
