A posting by Frank Ventura got me thinking. Group, I have a collection of DVD which is a real pain to navigate in using our Sony DVD/DVS unit. Apparently, there are menus which you have to get through before you can actually play one of the choices. There doesn't appear to be a simple way to do this.
1. Does anyone have any idea about getting past this problem? 2. As Frank mentioned, portable MP3 players are much easier to use than those which are supposed to be component style. If I bought a portable DVD player, would those controls be easier to work with? I am aware that you don't know my particular type of DVD player so I'm asking this as a general question. Are portable DVD players available? If so, are they easier to get around on than these deck units? We have 2 DVD players, a Sony and a very good quality Denin. Neither of them makes it easy to use the collection of Mash episodes I have in mind. Any help on this would be appreciated.
