This was my husband's laptop and he also had some antivirus program on their
probably from the manufacture called Norman which is totally unaccessible
with Jaws.
That also was the reason why a few months back I asked about a wireless card
for online as the laptop wasn't allowing me to do this and come to find out
it was that stupid Norman and after we had that removed and before doing
that had the laptop rolled back clear to a year ago this month and still no
connection. So off went the Norman and on went the AVG and then that program
you mention here also was giving us some problems and we had that removed as
well.
Now the laptop is really working great and goes online with no problems even
when all the computers are online at the same time..

Oh cool! That'll be one of the many things we'll probably do when Hannah
gets it and I help her set it up. Thanks for the information, greatly
appreciated.

I have an Acer laptop and recently we had that removed on it and all works
great. I don't know if this model here uses the symnoptic mouse?
If so, there are steps to turn it off so it doesn't interefer with one
pressing one's hands on the laptop.
I think best to my memory here, you click on it through the system tray and
tab to where it says to enable/disable it was either a checkbox or not, but
it's easy to disable it. I'm currently on my desktop or I would tell you for
sure..
