I just want to thank all of you who helped me with choosing the best hard drive after the other one messed up.
We were able to exchange that one for a Western Digital at double the drive space and it has the power supply as was recommended and now I totally understand why y'all suggested that type. I had read all the past post on this subject and just felt it was something way out of my league of understanding, but I credit this list and all you who have already used these devices and who provided me with the best information and even the steps to format and the reasons for doing so, that it was so easy and non-threatening, I had nothing to worry about. Smiles. I am busily putting many things on this hard drive and it couldn't be easier.. Thanks again to all of you!
