Notepad doesn't support/handle any formatting, and it's only real layout 
includes are line breaks, so it can't really implement any formatting which 
is why I reckon paste therein, but then recopy from within notepad.

I use this when copying code samples off websites since I don't need any 
extra HTML formatting/elements as such.
