Hi list,
my university has suggested I use Firefox in order to best access the
university website. I downloaded the version from the uni software library. I
think it is Firefox 2.7 or something. I am aware that version 3 is now out. But
2.7 is what the uni has. My problem is with trying to go to the uni web site.
For example, I did a control O once in Firefox. I then typed in the address
like I usually do in IE 7. However, when I hit enter, or tab to the okay
button, Firefox reports that the address is incorrect. Like I said, it works
fine with IE 7. I have never used Firefox before. Am I meant to enter the
address in some other format than the usual www. etc?
thanks a lot
Jason
