In windows explorer while in the list view of the C: drive, hit alt + T for the tools menu, go down to folder options, and hit enter, then in that dialogue, Ctrl + tab to get to the view page, and look in that list for things like hidden/system folders, and you can make sure they're set to be displayed, and not hidden.
Just remember that they get hidden for a reason because they don't want you to accidentally delete/modify some or other file/folder required by windows to in fact run properly.
