I use a combination of sending the PDF files to TextPal, or else using PDF2Txt, and then would run the .txt file through eSpeak (after maybe splitting it up into chapters etc.), and then convert those .wav files into MP3 which could either be listened to on an MP3 player, or written to an audio CD.

Stay well

Subject: [Blind-Computing] PDF to audio converter

Hi
I am looking for a PDF to audio converter. I am part of a sighted class and we all received our instructional materials on CD PDF files. The class was highly disappointed that the CD's were not audio CD's. I explained that there audio converters that will convert the PDF to audio and then burn it to disk. Now, they want me to give them the information on the program. Its been a good year since I heard about the program on an E-Mail list. Any ideas on which program would do this job for these folks?
Thank you in advance four your help.

God bless,
Mark
