Depending on your MP3 player, it might be alright to just format it as a flash/external drive, and that should clear up the problem.

I also have one friend and whenever she plugs her camera into my computer it tells me there's a virus on it, but it has a bit of a file structure, so I just copy the pictures off for her, and ignore it as such.

Stay well

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Viruses on mp3 players

  Hello all!
It happens more and more often that when I plug an mp3 player in my computer, I get the virus alert, and the filename is the name of an invisibile file, I mean, the file that can not be reached by cursor, and it is always the .exe file. Those files can not be cleaned (at least by nod32), and once I even couldn't delete one such file.
So, what is that virus, and can it harm your system or mp3 player?
Thanks in advance, and best regards.
