You need to disable the defender module before you uninstall Avast.

Hi.
Please could someone tell me how to uninstall Avast? I'm using Vista with
the latest version of Jaws. I've been into program features and tried to
uninstall Avast from there. There was an error with the uninstallation
and I'm not sure what that was. I know it's not easy to uninstall Avast
but I'd appreciate some instructions on how to do this please.
