I was actually thinking of letting her try GoldWave, so thanks for the
pointer, greatly appreciated. How about Total Recorder? I reckon she could
manage that since it's very accessible and keyboard friendly?

Anyhow, I'd like to teach my friend how to record in the MP3 format since
she has a built in microphone on her new Acer Aspire 5720 running Vista

Premium. If anyone has a good recorder that she can use without much
training that would be greatly appreciated. This must work with JAWS 9.
