Chris,

The issue here is that, although the page is simple and it's easy to perform
a search once or twice, the job requires performing a search for each of
many items.

Thus, if they were doing this manually, the user would have to search for an
item, grab the data, enter it into a spreadsheet, and then go through the
cycle again many times.  I was hoping to automate this process by having a
visual Basic code which would grab the list of items to be searched for from
a data file, and then automatically perform the search and retrieve the data
for each item in the original data file.

I have to believe that this is possible using Visual Basic, but can't quite
figure out how to use the HTMLDocuments or HTMLElements objects in Visual
Basic to identify and click on the proper web links.

How would filling the information into an application differ from 
entering it into the site itself? The form looks fairly simple.
