Hi Desiree,
You can find instructions for changeing the drive letters at:
http://www.blind-computing.com/windows/tutorials/txt/changeing_drive_letters_in_windows_xp_home.txt
Although, I am not sure that Windows will allow you to change the letter of the drive that Windows is installed on.

You may need to change the drive letter of your local hard drive. Email me off list and i'll give you the instructions for it, as I don't have them to hand at the moment.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] changing the default drive programs install to?

I'm having a problem with installing certain programs. Drive C is not
my default drive, and although I would like to change it, the reason
it is not by default is because awhile ago when I got my computer
fixed, the person who fixed it installed several extra memory slots
but didn't put anything in them. As a result, I now have 3 unusable
drive letters, and my local drive is H.
This usually isn't a problem, as most programs will ask you to change
the directory you install to if you want to. However, I'm thinking of
2 programs in particular that do not, and then fail to recognize that
drive C doesn't exist, so I'm unable to install them. So is there a
way to make it so that all programs that are being installed will
recognize that drive H is the default and not drive C?
