hi yes I do. there is no windows music though eather and that is what I hear

hi all. I have a strange problem. when I re start my computer there is no
speech. I hear no windows start up music or jaws. I have jaws working now
since I hit control shift v to re set the sound card and it seems to have
worked but it is quite un nerving. last night I was just working away on
it and suddenly lost all speech and then when I re started the computer
there was nothing. it is very aud and I am not sure how to fix it? I have
since re started the system and the same thing keeps happening. many
