Normally, it isn't necessary to remove one version of Office before loading another one. However, there is some kind of problem between these two versions which occasionally pops up. Try loading 2003 first without making any changes. If you hear some kind of error messages, then stop the program, get rid of Office 2000 and start all over. Patricia, watch your disk numbering when loading 2003. Actually, most of what the average user needs is on Disk 1. But the rest of the program requires a completely different product ID number.
