Hi there,
Perfect! I'm happy you could solve it. I was sleeping at the time so sorry
for not responding, but you can disable system restore from your system
properties in control panel, for later reference.

Hi Parham,
I was able to delete the system volume information folder by installing a
program called:
UNLOCKER 1.8.7 BY CEDRICK 'NITCH' COLLOMB
you can read about it at the following site.
http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/
Here's the download link if you'd like it:
http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/unlocker1.8.7.exe
Thanks for replying to my need.
Brian

That folder is used by your system restore. If you disable system restore
and then restart your computer, you can remove it.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Unable to delete folder
Hi friends,
I'm trying to delete a folder on a second hard drive in my computer. It
resides on a computer with Windows 2000 Pro where I'm using Jaws version
9 some
thing or other. The folder I'm trying to delete is called system volume
information. When I go to that folders properties it states that there
are no folders
or files and that the size is 0 bites and has 0 folders and 0 files.
When I try to delete, rename or move it it states that access is denied
and that it
may be in use. I've done a quick reformat and a complete reformat and it
still shows up. If I access that hard drive from another computer
through my network
it doesn't show up. I'd like to delete it, but if that isn't possible
how, if possible, can I make it a hidden folder so Jaws doesn't read it
and if a
sighted person were to look, they wouldn't see it either. Any help for
this frustrated person would be greatly appreciated.
Brian
