I have also had trouble with this many times and have not figured out why it
won't play. It makes it impossible to set up a gmail account without
sighted help, which is not practical sometimes, at least, for me it's not.

I was on Google and needed to log in to Google. They use a video
capture but they do have an audio version. I tried to use that feature but
it did not work. Google says that it uses a wav file. So, my question is
how do I make internet explorer play wav files? I thought it would do
this by default. Any ideas are appreciated.
