Hello.

I am an assistive technology trainer who is working with a student who
is using Window-eyes 6.1 with Windows Vista. We are wondering what
antivirus programs are the most usable/accessible with Window-eyes? I
personally like Avast and I gather that many blind people seem to like
it, although I am annoyed at their captcha which is necessary for
registration. I will say, however, that Avast is very good at
responding to users very quickly and will provide a license key via
email. I saw a version of PC-Cillin from a few years back and it
appeared to be very usable, but my student installed a version of it
(not sure which one) and is finding it awkward to use. I have mixed
feelings about AVG 8.0 as to its accessibility compared with 7.5, but
it's more or less workable. How are Norton and Mcafee these days? I
would welcome any comments.

David
