Thanks for telling us about this site. The file for it's a wonderful life on the site I note is only 61mb. As an mp3 file you should be able to fit about 10 of these movies on a data CD and a file of this size can also be played without problems I think in most mp3 players.
Are you trying to convert this to a audio CD? If this is so then I would suggest that your simplest course is to use the excellent book split utility available on the programs page of the Jaws User list home page. This will simply split the file into 10 minute segments or so which you may find more helpful to navigate with . You could also use an mp3 splitter program to nominate yourself where you want to split a mp3 file. There is a greater learning curve for these programs but again I think there are programs and also tutorials available. I think there is a tutorial for booksplit also which may help but the program is very accessible and straightforward.
