Has anyone ever dealt with spybot search and destroy, it is a malware program?
Sometimes that pops up and I have a hard time figuring out if its found some
malware or just a registry change that's legit. All it ever announces is that
something is wanting to change something in my registry and it never says what.
Often it comes up after I've installed something I think is really legitimate
so occasionally I've allowed the change. I think it happened after installing
some componant needed to run a feature on a page of this online course I'm
taking. I do quite a bit on internet explorer although perhaps I should be
using firefox more, particularly when downloading things.
Ah well, I have never run a registry cleaner so I'm going to try that. Thanks
for all your help and suggestions.
Kate
