Just found some more information on using Jaws for Dos and a boot disc. Of
course you will need a hardware speech synthesiser  about which I know
nothing. Others may be able to help here.

I do not really know much about  Ultimate boot CD  but I think the basic
version boots into a kind of MS DOS or PC DOS?  If this is so it might be
worth investigating if Jaws for DOS will run on this.  I read on this or the
Jaws list some time ago that  Jaws for DOS is now a freeware product.

Just a suggestion  to investigate. I have never used Ultimate Boot or Jaws
for DOS so I do not know if this combination will work.

I agree with Chris that you are likely to run into problems just with the XP
Ultimate Boot CD as I imagine this will be a stripped down OS.
