I have a 4 gigabyte card in my unit and that seems to be more than enough for books, podcasts, and music. The Stream is a fantastic device and I would be lost without it. Be sure to sign up for the NLS download service as this is what makes the Stream really shine. Check Newegg.com for prices on SD memory. Prices seem to be going down daily so you may be able to buy 8 gigabytes for what 4 used to cost. I believe the maximum memory for the Stream is 16 gigabytes.
