I like VLC media player, but also possible you'll need the relevant encoding
plugins for the specific file, but, these media players should actually be
able to try download/install these themselves.
Only thing can think of offhand is that you might need to have DirectX
installed, but anyway...

Hi.
using jaws 10, and tried playing avi files, star trek voyager, that i
downloaded today.
now, windows media player, says it cannot play it, quick time, complaining
because cannot find the file format, and winamp just refused to play it.
so what can i use to play avi files?
any hints, or ideas?
