Debby, just go ahead and do it. It's just the latest service pack, which
contains all the security updates that has been out for SP2. If you do not
upgrade you won't receive any more updates soon.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] A question about Windows XP Service Pack 3.
Hi all,
I keep getting a message saying, Updates are ready for your computer."
and
when I enter to see what these updates are, it tells me something about
upgrading to windows XP service pack 3. I don't know anything about this,
so I back out of it.
Can anyone tell me if it's safe to upgrade to this version of windows XP?
If not, how can I stop it from telling me to update to service pack 3?
Thanks.
