Lino In Word, press Alt T, then O This will bring you to Word Options. Work your way through the different windows and uncheck anything that suggest auto formatting or automatic bullets, or anything else that hints at Word doing things automatically. This may take a bit of experimentation, but eventually you'll get what you want. As I recall, it seems that the same option appears in a couple different places. I remember having to do the same thing in Word 2000, so this is similar. Blessings, Tom
