I use a free TV Guide called zap2it.com that I found in the Reading, PA newspaper. It is national and provides listings for all providers. The first time to the site, it will ask for your zip code and provider. If you wish, you can set up a free account and customize the results. I set up all the channels I might watch with my favorites at the top. I have it show listings in a one hour grid and show all channels on one page. This way there is never confusion about start times. Additionally, I set up an icon on my desktop with a hotkey to immediately open the guide for the current date and time. The address in my shortcut is:
http://tvlistings.zap2it.com/partners/grid.asp?partner_id=paret2

This does not contain any info particular to me, that info is stored in a cookie.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Accessible tv guide software for dish networkneeded

Hello list. As it says in the subject, I am searching for an accessible software that works with jawws that will enable me to know what's showing on a certain channel in my knew dish lineup. I herd of a prog called tv now I think but I was wondering if there was a free way, or, if this prog was free as I have never been able to find it anywhere to give it a try. Any help would be wonderful.
Thank you
