Hi,

I use JAWS and it's speech (and braille) output on my Windows PC running XP
Pro.

I am considering installing Ubuntu Linux, but rather than install it as a
separately booting OS, I would like to install it in a virtual machine (if
possible), so that it won't take a lot of time to switch the OS from Linux
to Windows.

Thus, my questions are:

1. How well does JAWS work with the Microsoft Virtual Machine?

2. If I can work with the virtual machine and JAWS, will I be able to
use the Orca screen reader in Ubuntu in the virtual machine environment?

3. Will there be any bad interactions between using sound for speech
both inside Windows and the virtual machine running Ubuntu?

Thanks for any info or user experiences which might be helpful in working
this out.

n Pete
