If you install it, all the media players, will automatically get the required codec, and when you open the winamp or the media player, they start playing automatically, since the program will work as a codek which are required. regards Samuel ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Ferrin" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, January 06, 2009 5:18 PM Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Playing avi and Video Files Help With Jaws
What is this program? Is it a player on its' own or is it an add on kind of a deal. I downloaded it but do not know how to document the thing so haven't posted it yet. It will contain a lot of codecs which are more required by some programs. regards Samuel ----- Original Message ----- From: "jeremy" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, January 06, 2009 5:26 AM Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Playing avi and Video Files Help With Jaws Depends on where you got the avi. I have downloaded some that work fine in winamp and in media player but others either have only video or audio and can have other issues. When I get one that works well, I don't think I needed to get anything special to play them in winamp. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marvin Hunkin" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, January 05, 2009 4:07 AM Subject: [Blind-Computing] Playing avi and Video Files Help With Jaws > Hi. > any one experienced in playing avi or video files on their machines. > tried using winamp, but no audio comes up. if try to play in media classic > player, it start play the audio, but tells me the time it loads, then it > stop playing the audio, like encounter at far point 1 and 2 for the next > generation. > now, how do i get it to play with winamp, > or can i just use good old windows media player or are there any other > encoders, that i need. > some one did send me an encoder, so might try that. > really annoying. > downloading season one of the next generation. > and now, how to play the damn thing. > even quick time, does not play. > so can any one help me out? > playing video files using jaws? > cheers Marvin. > ps: need expert help, if they have set up the various media players. > e-mail me off list for help. > so do not clog up the list. > > E-mail: [email protected] > MSN: [email protected] > Skype: startrekcafe > We Are The Borg!
