There is a little utility called Power Menu that will minimize any program
to the System Tray. It adds an option to the System Menu (Alt-Z) that
places the program in the System Tray. Once Power Menu is installed, launch
it from the Desktop, then open APH Talking Clock and press Alt-Z or go to
System menu to minimize it to the System Tray. You can download Power Menu
from the web site below. Type "power menu" into the Find dialog to easily
locate it. HTH.

I installed the clock.
I'm not sure if I'm doing things the correct way or not.
I found out if the clock is not opened it won't give the time.
It's to bad the clock isn't in the system tray.
unless I have to move it to the tray,wich I don't know how to do that.

APH Talking Clock is a simple application that automatically announces
the time at quarter-hour intervals in the recorded voice of one of APH's
well-known readers. At the top of every hour, it chimes like a
grandfather clock, sounding one chime at 1 o'clock up to 12 chimes at
noon and midnight. There are no alarm settings or other user-adjustable
options. You cannot change the voice or turn off the chimes. However,
if you don't find the chimes bothersome, this is a nice little program
that will help you keep track of the time when you're busy on your

Hi, everyone. I downloaded the APH talking clock but now I'm having
trouble
installing it. I followed all the right instructions but got a weird
error
message saying "winzip file is corrupt" or something like that. It's
supposed to be a .x file so that means you shouldn't have to unzip it.
If I
did get the wrong link for downloading it, could someone please give me
the
correct link?
