Now that we know how to imbed sounds into an email, is there also a way to

Hi David,

You are correct. I did get the directions from the website. So, that
makes
you, Rick, & the rest of the team " Miracle Workers ". Take care.

If memory serves the directions have been up on the server for a long
time.
In fact Mike most likely got them from there. Never the less the main
thing
is you got your question answered in a timely manner.

David and everyone,

I thought Mike's directions were great and this is something I've been
looking for. My question has been answered... and I didn't even have to
ask!

A miracle on the Blind computing list! Wow!

It can be done either way, but if you wish it to play when it is opened
then
it needs to be embedded. I might just do a tutorial on this subject as it
would be very easy.

It should be embedded in the message.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Question about embedding a sound file in
OutlookExpress

Hello all. When embedding a file in an "Outlook Express" file, is the
sound actually embedded int the ehe-mail or does it show up as an
attachment?
I ask this question because when I sent a message to my friend he heard
no
sound. I then sent one to myself and I heard no sound but noticed that
the
sound was sent as an attachment. I am using Outlook Express and Windows
2000.
 Thanks.

 Pete
