Hi Mark, have you tried an alternative screen reader, possibly NVDA?
I have recently been introduced to this great new piece of screen reading
technology, and have found, to my amazement, that it really is as functional
as Jaws.
Sure, some of the new terms take a bit of getting used to, and not using the
number pad can get frustrating at times, when I don't remember that tidbit,
but otherwise, I have found it to be a great tool when Jaws crashes.
I should also note that Jaws and NVDA can work simultaneously, so no
conflicts.
I don't think it would be a bad idea to try accessing the web page with NVDA
to see if you can get something going there.
